CraftED Thin Slides is an entry level #eduprotocol for developing students language skills and creative expression through minimalist, but effective, visual communication design. Using Google Slides, students rapidly develop one-slide with one word and one picture, a totally minimalist response to any prompt. The result is a powerful visual communication piece with impact. Thin Slides are in introductory step to the Iron Chef #eduprotocol and hits the CCSS ELA Literacy standards for speaking and listening, writing, and language while also addressing the 4Cs. Participants have the option to explore designing their own lessons with the Thin Slides protocol. The bonus takeaways from this session are the cool graphic design techniques that make slide presos rock!
